Recurring Walks brings together two different time frames. Namely the present and the Romantic period at the turn of the nineteenth century. From an outsider point of view, the spirit of the age is a first point of association. Text and visual language are put in line of each other. Literature and photography, each in their own right, are the instruments of consciousness. They are reflections on moments from the past and the present. Which show a mixture of instantaneous joy and sorrow.
